CDC walks Back with the Claim that Vaccines Do Not Cause Autism
The CDC has quietly reversed its position on its previously unscientific claim that “Vaccines Do Not Cause Autism.”
In a legal request, ICAN asked the CDC to show the studies that “vaccines don’t cause autism”.
The case was then brought to federal court and now ICAN has won the case.
There is only 20 studies that make up the entire list of what they looked to when they say childhood vaccines given in the first 6 months of life do not cause autism.
Of these 19 of those studies have nothing to do with vaccines given in the 6 months of life.
So, they were left with only one study that attorney Aaron Siri explains here
Now the CDC viewpoint on vaccines and autism is this
It reads:
- The claim “vaccines do not cause autism” is not an evidence-based claim because studies have not ruled out the possibility that infant vaccines cause autism.
- Studies supporting a link have been ignored by health authorities.
- HHS has launched a comprehensive assessment of the causes of autism, including investigations on plausible biologic mechanisms and potential causal links.
