Flu Fear vs Flu Facts!

In 2025 Flu season in Great Britain, the authorities issued a serious warning of Flu and urged people to wear masks again.

However, the reason of the warning was to cause fear in the population because the real data did not show any serious warning.

We also know that the Cleveland clinic study on Flu showed a negative efficacy meaning that the vaccinated were more likely to get flu compared to the unvaccinated. The increased risk of catching a flu after the Flu vaccine was 26.9%.

Question is: Why should we vaccinated against Flu when vaccination against Flu raises the risk of getting Flu.

Mauritius don’t have much data on Flu and we need to rely on data from other countries as the vaccines are the same.
